Does your child lose control easily? Experience intense tantrums? Give major attitude? Have trouble with friendships because of their reactions to others?
Or perhaps your child is extremely quiet and would benefit from understanding their feelings more or being more assertive?
Learning Mindfulness Coping Strategies while Focusing in on Social Emotional Learning Can Help!
Mindfulness is paying attention and being present in the moment which can help kids appropriately respond to a triggering event, instead of reacting or "exploding." Mindfulness classes are beneficial to children needing help with emotion regulation, social skills, anger management, and problem-solving.
The focus on social-emotional learning, along with the use of literature, music and movement in each session sets Free to Be Mindful classes apart from any other mindfulness program.
Ideal for children in grades kindergarten-5th
Held two Wednesdays a month from 6:00 - 6:30PM EST
Classes are interactive via Zoom
Children have the option to have video option on or off
With the video option on, children have the opportunity to participate with host to answer questions
Classes are $10 per class, per household
